Technical Team Augmentation

Add senior engineers to your team without the hiring wait.

Vetted Talent. Flexible Contracts. Lower Cost.

The hire you need is six weeks away. The work is not.

Hiring a senior engineer locally takes a quarter of a year once you count sourcing, interviewing, offers and notice periods — and it commits you to a headcount before you know how long the work will last.

We place vetted developers, QA engineers and DevOps specialists directly into your team, working in your tools, your process and your sprint cycle. You get the engineering capacity now, on a contract you can change as the roadmap changes.

What We Offer

What you get

Engineers who are already vetted, already on your hours, and already working.

Build a team of vetted experts

Backend, frontend, mobile, QA and DevOps engineers, screened and interviewed by us before you ever meet them. You see a shortlist worth your time, not a stack of CVs.

Works your hours, not ours

Engineers on your timezone, with full overlap across your working day. Stand-ups, reviews and the questions that block a ticket happen while you are at your desk, not overnight.

Hassle-free hiring and replacement

Sourcing, contracts and payroll are ours to handle. If someone is not the right fit, we replace them — you are not stuck managing an exit you did not plan for.

Cost-effective, self-managed teams

From $20/hour, with our own leads running delivery so you stay hands-off. Senior engineering at a fraction of a local hire, without the management overhead landing on you.

How We Work

From brief to a working engineer

Four stages, usually inside a fortnight.

01

Tell us what you need

2–3 days

The stack, the seniority, the working hours you need covered and what the engineer will actually own. Specific beats broad here — it is what makes the shortlist short.

02

Meet a screened shortlist

Within a week

We interview first and send you people we would put on our own projects. You interview them yourself; nobody joins your team without you meeting them.

03

Start in your sprint

1–2 weeks from brief

They work in your tools, your process and your sprint cycle, on your timezone. Compare that with the six to ten weeks a local hire usually takes to sign and start.

04

Scale up or down

Ongoing

A monthly contract you can change as the roadmap changes. Add engineers when the work grows, release them when it does not, without a redundancy process.

Our engineers work agent-assisted day to day, which is part of why a smaller team covers more ground than headcount alone would suggest.

FAQ

Questions we get asked first

What does it cost?

From $20/hour, billed monthly. Where an engineer lands in the range depends on seniority and specialism — a DevOps engineer with cloud certifications is not priced like a mid-level frontend developer. We quote per engineer against your brief rather than a blended rate that hides which is which.

How does the timezone overlap actually work?

Our engineers work your business hours, not a couple of hours of forced overlap at the edge of the day. That means stand-ups, code reviews and the question that unblocks a ticket all happen while your team is online. Asynchronous handover across a twelve-hour gap is what makes distributed teams slow, and it is the thing we specifically avoid.

What if an engineer is not the right fit?

We replace them. Sourcing, contracts and payroll are our responsibility, so a change of engineer is a conversation with us rather than an HR process on your side. Tell us early — a mismatch caught in week two costs far less than one managed around for a quarter.

Who manages the engineers day to day?

Your choice. Most clients want them embedded in their own team and process, working the way their engineers already work. If you would rather stay hands-off, our leads run delivery and you get output without the management overhead. The second option is why the teams are described as self-managed.

How quickly can someone start?

Typically one to two weeks from the brief: a couple of days to scope, a shortlist within a week, then onboarding. That is the difference worth pricing — a local senior hire usually takes six to ten weeks to source, offer and start, and you carry the search cost either way.
