Support, Maintenance & Cloud

Keep your applications stable, secure and ready to scale.

Reliable Support. Smarter Cloud. Scalable Growth.

For software that already exists — including software we did not build

Applications rarely fail all at once. They accumulate: an upgrade nobody had time for, a dependency that went end-of-life, infrastructure sized for a business two years smaller, and a deploy process only one person fully understands.

We provide complete support and maintenance for existing applications, plus DevOps, deployment, monitoring and architecture consulting. If the people who built it have moved on, that is a normal starting point rather than a problem — we read the system first and document what we find.

What We Offer

What we cover

From an urgent production fix to the infrastructure underneath it.

Application support and bug fixing

Fast response when something breaks in production, and a fix that addresses the cause rather than the symptom that surfaced first.

System upgrades and performance work

Keeping pace with growth and new requirements: framework and dependency upgrades, slow queries, and the pages that got heavier as the data grew.

Cloud setup, migration and maintenance

Reliable infrastructure without the operational overhead — provisioned, migrated and maintained, with the cost visible rather than discovered on a bill.

DevOps, deployment and monitoring

Pipelines that let you ship safely, and monitoring that tells you something is wrong before a customer does.

Scalable architecture consulting

Planning for what the product needs next, so the decision to re-architect is made deliberately rather than forced by an outage.

How We Work

From inherited codebase to routine releases

Four stages. We read before we change — the fastest way to break an unfamiliar system is to improve it confidently.

01

Audit and handover

1–2 weeks

We read the codebase and the infrastructure, find out what breaks and how often, and document what we learn. Most applications we inherit have no current documentation, so this stage produces it.

02

Stabilise

2–4 weeks

Fix what is actively failing, add monitoring where there is none, and get deployments to a state where releasing is routine rather than an event.

03

Improve and modernise

Ongoing

Dependency upgrades, performance work and infrastructure changes, sequenced so the application keeps running while it improves.

04

Monitor and support

Monthly

Ongoing cover: monitoring, incident response and a regular cadence of small improvements, on a monthly agreement rather than a per-incident scramble.

Our engineers work agent-assisted through audits and upgrades, which is how an unfamiliar codebase gets mapped in weeks rather than months.

FAQ

Questions we get asked first

What are your response times?

Response targets are agreed per engagement and written into the support agreement, because a storefront losing orders and an internal tool with twenty users do not need the same cover. We set them by severity — production down, degraded, and everything else — and we would rather agree targets we can hold than publish a number that sounds impressive and gets missed.

Will you support an application you did not build?

Yes, and most of what we support we did not build. The audit stage exists precisely for that: we read the code and the infrastructure first, document what is there, and tell you honestly what we find — including where the risk sits and what it will take to reduce it.

What if the original developers are gone?

That is a common starting point and it is workable. No documentation, no handover and no one to ask makes the audit slower, not impossible. What it does change is sequencing: we stabilise and document before changing anything substantial, because the fastest way to break an unfamiliar system is to improve it confidently.

Can you take over our hosting and cloud infrastructure?

Yes — setup, migration or ongoing management, in your own cloud accounts so the infrastructure and the billing stay yours. We migrate systems that are on the wrong platform or costing more than they should, and we tell you what the running cost will be before the move rather than after.

Do we have to commit to a monthly retainer?

The audit stands alone — you can pay for it, take the documentation and act on it however you like, including with your own team. Ongoing support is a monthly agreement because incident cover only works if someone is actually watching, but nothing obliges you to continue past the audit.
